Robbie Rogers
Director
Robbie Rogers is the founder of Queen City FC in Charlotte, North Carolina. Originally from Liberia in West Africa, Robbie has been passionate about soccer throughout his life.
In 2010, he received an athletic scholarship to Pfeiffer University, where he laid the foundation for his collegiate career. Following his time at Pfeiffer, Rogers moved to The College of New Jersey (TCNJ), where he played a key role in helping the Lions achieve a national ranking in 2015 as a coach. His dedication and leadership on the field continued at Rutgers University, where he contributed to an impressive 20-3-1 season in 2017. This campaign featured an outstanding 8-1-0 record in the competitive New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and marked the program's first-ever NJAC Tournament Championship. Rutgers made its return to the NCAA Tournament that year, advancing to the second round before being eliminated by nationally ranked Brandeis University, finishing the season ranked 19th in the country.
Before his collegiate achievements, Rogers honed his coaching skills as a trainer at various youth clubs here in the Charlotte and Rock Hill area. While in New Jersey, Rogers worked with Total Soccer, a youth training program in Warminster, Pennsylvania. Since returning to North Carolina, he has focused on developing the local soccer community by organizing and coaching youth camps and clinics in the Greater Charlotte area, as well as working with Land United FC in Indian Land.
Robbie’s extensive experience in soccer, both as a player and a coach, continues to shape his vision for Queen City FC, where he is dedicated to fostering talent and a love for the game in young athletes.
